There’s something so special about a wedding where love, family, and tradition all come together in the most beautiful way. Rebecca and Ray’s wedding was exactly that—a celebration that felt like a scene straight out of a classic Italian love story.

Rebecca and Ray both come from close-knit, lively Italian families. Their story began in New York, where they grew up as friends. Life took them both to Charlotte, NC, where they reconnected, fell in love and, as they say, the rest is history! Their journey led to a picture-perfect engagement at Freedom Park.

On May 18, 2024, they exchanged vows at the stunning Crystal Ballroom in Rock Hill, NC. The ceremony was filled with so much warmth and emotion—happy tears, knowing glances, and that indescribable energy that fills the air when two people are exactly where they’re meant to be. The sky was overcast, hinting at rain, but the downpour never came – leaving us with the perfect backdrop for a newlywed portrait session that was every bit as joyful and romantic as expected.

And then came the reception… oh, what a party! From deeply-felt toasts to a packed dance floor, every moment was full of life and joy. My absolute favorite part? The traditional Italian wedding dance that brought everyone together in the most fun and spirited way. There’s something about seeing an entire room moving, laughing, and celebrating as one that makes your heart swell.

By the end of the night, I wasn’t just the photographer – I felt like an honorary member of the family.
