In college, I spent countless hours in the darkroom, processing film and developing photos for the campus newspaper or a photography class. There was nothing like the thrill of watching an image slowly appear in the film bath—it always felt like magic.

As long as I can remember, I have loved film. I was the middle school girl who draped bed sheets as backdrops to create photo sessions with her best friend - and pet cat. :-)
